Timbering his own trees, he hand-built five charming lakefront cottages, perfect for families. Each includes a kitchen, two bedrooms and its own bath. The tranquil country setting of this small private lake  named after Great-Great-Grandpa Charles,  affords its visitors many relaxing hours of fishing, sunning, hiking, campfires and the purest of country relaxation.

Sweet Valley Cottages are conveniently located near golfing, tennis, numerous antique and gift shops, Ricketts Glen State Park, Moon Lake and Frances Slocum Parks. Day trips are enjoyed at Knoebels Grove Amusement Park, Steamtown, Camelbeach Waterpark and the Crossing Outlet Center, just to mention a few area delights.
