Rules
and Regulations
for Sweet Valley
Cottages
So that you and your neighbors may have a pleasant stay,
please observe the following rules:

Cottages are rented only to those adults that agree to the following rules, and
agree and sign the waiver and release of liability.
Check-in time is 3 p.m. on the first day of the rental period. Check-out time is 10 a.m. on the final day.
You will need to bring your own bedding and towels.
Dishes and cookware are provided.
Park your vehicle in designated area only: At the poles between cottages
2 and 3.
The maximum number of people per cottage is 6, limited to a total of: 4 adults
and 2 children per cottage ( with the use of the futon for children, ages 12 and
under only). No extra cots are available. There
is an additional charge for the 5th and 6th persons.
You may have visitors to your cottage, with prior permission only, between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m.
Cottage furnishings may not be removed from the cottage area.
No smoking is allowed inside the
cottages.
Occupants will be held liable for damage to cottage and cottage, lake and
grounds equipment.
Pets are prohibited. ( For nearby dog and
cat boarding during your stay: we recommend, Pine Creek Kennels - PET
RESORT. They are located 2 miles from Ricketts Glen Falls.

Use of the lake is strictly at your own risk. Use of Person Floatation
Devices, are required. It is over ten feet deep in some areas. Children must be supervised at all times.
A valid fishing license is required.
We promote catch and release fishing. Use only LEAD FREE split shot and
sinkers. Trout, Large Mouth Bass, Catfish and Bluegills are in the lake.
You can not disturb the sleep of others between 9 p.m. and 8 a.m. Loud radios, music, etc. is not allowed. Rowdy parties and loud noise are not permitted . Any rowdy behavior or disturbance is to be reported to management.
Alcoholic beverages are not allowed in the park.
Ducks, birds, frogs and many types of wildlife make their home in the park area and are not to be abused.
Fires are only permitted in grills, stoves and fireplaces ( fires in the
Franklin stoves must be kept small, for safety reasons and no fires are allowed in the
Franklin stoves when the futon is used for
bedding ), fires must be extinguished before leaving the cottage area.
Firearms, bows and arrows, firecrackers, air rifles, etc. are prohibited in the park.
Please keep the cottages and park clean.
